This guide provides step-by-step instructions for registering for the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). The SSAT registration is exclusively available through the official SSAT website: https://ssat.org. If you encounter any difficulties accessing the website, it is recommended to use a browser like Google Chrome. Should you face technical issues during registration, such as the page not loading, take a screenshot of the error and contact SSAT support at info@enrollment.org for assistance.

How to Register for the SSAT

Create a Student SSAT Online Account

a. Visit https://ssat.org, and click “Sign Up” in the upper right corner of the homepage.

b. After the new page loads, you will see an option on the right side to “Create an Account.” If you are not a member of The Enrollment Management Association, click “Sign up for a Parent/Guardian and Student Account.” If you already have an account, simply click “Sign In” on the left to proceed with your existing login. The image shows a sign-in page for "The Enrollment Management Association" with options to sign in or create a parent/guardian and student account.

Important: Registration must be done through a parent or guardian’s account. For more details on this change, visit the official SSAT website.

c. Complete the required personal information and set up your SSAT account username and password (fields marked with * are mandatory):

  • Parent/Guardian Information:

  • Name (required): Enter the name as it appears on official identification (passport or driver’s license).

  • Contact Information and Address (required):Include your address in the provided fields. Ensure you follow the standard address format used in the U.S. or Canada (e.g., house number, street name, city, state/province, postal code).

  • Email Address (required):This will serve as the primary point of contact for SSAT-related information, so ensure that the email address you provide is accurate and accessible.

  • Username and Password: Create a username and password for the parent/guardian account and store it securely. You will need these credentials for future tasks like registering for the exam, printing admission tickets, and managing score reports.

  • Student Information:

  • Current Grade: Choose the student’s current grade level, the type of school they attend (day or boarding), their date of birth, gender, and native language. Ensure all information is accurate.

  • Student: Create a username and password for the student account and store it securely. The features available in the parent and student accounts differ slightly, so be sure to keep track of both.

Opt-In to Receive Admissions Materials: You have the option to opt in to receive information from member schools of The Enrollment Management Association. This might include newsletters, scholarship opportunities, open house invitations, and admission ma terials from schools your child may be interested in. You can check this option if you wish to receive such information. The image shows an opt-in section for receiving admissions materials from member schools, with a checkbox to agree and an option to add another student.

e. Account Creation:

After submitting the information, you will see a confirmation screen stating “Accounts Successfully Created.” Record the username and password for both the parent/guardian and student accounts, as you will need these to log in for future activities like registering for tests or sending score reports.

Note: Each student can only have one account. Make sure to safeguard your login credentials for future use.
